SHPE Members:
As you may know we have two board members that are leaving the area, Miguel Maldonado and Sergio Perez. According to our Bylaws the board has 30 days to fill the positions. As Miguel Maldonado announced some weeks ago, Dr. Juan Vasquez is now SHPE OHIO-SW President. Today, we had a Board Meeting and we would like to fill Dr. Vasquez's and Sergio's VP positions. Please email Dr. Vasquez and/or me and/or any of the board members if you are interested in filling any of the two positions. This would be for 3 months, from now until July 1, 2010. In June 2010 we will have our regularly scheduled elections for all the board positions. The two positions are: 1. VP Corporate Affairs and 2. VP Student Relations. Below are the descriptions: 2.2 The Vice-President Professional Development and Corporate Affairs shall: Quote: *Assist the President and the board in businesses concerning the Chapter 2.3 The Vice-President-Community Affairs and Student Relations: Quote: *Assist the President and the board in business concerning the Chapter Respectfully, Olga  SHPE OHIO-SW Administrative Officer SHPE Lifetime Member
