Biographies
| Miguel Maldonado | Miguel Maldonado is the Technology Integration Lead, Aircraft Power & Thermal for the Air Force Research Laboratories, Propulsion Directorate, Energy Power Thermal Division. He received his B.S.E.E. from the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez in 1987 and his M.S.E.E. from the University of Dayton in 1993. Mr. Maldonado has worked in the Energy Power Thermal Division for 21 years, where he has been responsible for the development and demonstration of currently used air vehicles electrical power systems. His current efforts consist of working with Industry, Academia and other DoD Agency on technology development, integration and demonstration for an Energy Optimized Aircraft.

| Olga Mendoza |
Olga L. Mendoza received her B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Puget Sound in 1998. After graduating, Miss Mendoza worked in the Information Technology field in the Seattle area for five years, working for two Fortune 500 companies--Weyerhaeuser Company and Nordstrom Inc. Olga received her M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky in 2004. Mendoza is currently a Research Mathematician at the Air Force Research Laboratory/Sensors Directorate in Dayton, OH. |
| Orlando Monzon |
Orlando Monzon is an Electronics Engineer at the Electronics Warfare Branch, Sensors Directorate, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He holds a Master of Computer Science, a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from National University of Colombia (Universidad Nacional de Colombia). Before joining the Sensors Directorate he worked during 16 years as a senior software engineer at the ASC/ EN supporting several System Program Offices (SPO) such the B-1B, F-15 . He worked as power engineer for Empresa de Energia Electrica de Bogota, Colombia and Dayton Power & Light before he jointed the United States Air Force.

| Adrian Palomino |
Adrian Palomino received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton in 1994 and his M.S. in engineering from Wright State University in 1997. He is currently a senior engineer in the Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems unit at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems in Dayton, OH working on modeling, simulation and analysis of air-to-ground radar systems and automatic target recognition algorithms. Adrian is a member of the IEEE, SHPE and SPIE.

| Sergio Perez |
Sergio Perez was born in Brownsville, Texas and received a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2001. Sergio received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2007. He is a Captain in the United States Air Force and is currently serving as Reference Technology Team Lead at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Wright Patterson Air Force Base Ohio. He is responsible for the development of next generation position, navigation and timing technologies.

| Juan Vasquez |
Dr. Juan R. Vasquez was born on 1 June 1965. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1987. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1992 and 1998 respectively. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
His military service includes assignments as an aircraft maintenance officer responsible for 330 maintenance personnel, program manager for weather satellite systems, researcher in GPS anti-jam techniques, program manager for a multi-target multi-sensor fusion program, and program manager for basic research in optimization and discrete mathematics. Dr. Vasquez's research interests include target tracking, navigation, and multiple model estimation and control.
